The Twins and Multiple Births Association (TAMBA) needed to replace both their CRM system and their website. They had been working with the current system for many years but knew they needed an overhaul to ensure that they were able to improve the services and information available for their members.
Member engagement is the number one priority, redesigning their CRM system combined with the website would enable them to provide more relevant information directly to their members. This would improve the experience for members and therefore increase the potential revenue for the charity.
Digital transformation is the top strategic objective for TAMBA this year; but as they are a small charity this was a significant investment, they needed to get it the right first time and avoid any unnecessary costs. As part of the research and groundwork for this project, Nikki Roberts – Head of Communications, assessed the projects her peers were starting and actively engaged in online forums to look for recommendations and pitfalls. Chrysalis Digital was recommended to her as a company that could bring in a wealth of experience to help her in the design of the project.
Chrysalis Digital conducted a workshop and invested time to fully understand both the business requirements and the culture of TAMBA, ensuring they could help shape the tender document. Once there was a thorough understanding of the business requirements, Chrysalis Digital was able to use their extensive supplier knowledge to help match the most suitable suppliers to tender for the work.
‘Ben helped us write a very thorough invitation to tender which ensured that potential suppliers were very clear on our requirements. Ben also helped us to identify potential suppliers to invite to tender that would be able to meet our requirements within our budget. His knowledge and insight of the CRM and CMS companies are excellent which helped us to make informed decisions. It was a pleasure working with Ben and he was a real asset to our team as we embarked on the tender process.’ Nikki Roberts – Head of Communications @ TAMBA
Suppliers have now been selected and TAMBA has ensured that they have a resource in place to help roll out the project. It has been agreed that to safeguard the project time scales and keep the entire organisation engaged they need the project management support.
Integration with the whole organisation is vital so a full education plan is being scheduled that will guarantee that there is ubiquitous adoption of the new CRM system across all teams. The project is due to roll out at the latter end of 2019.
