Chrysalis Digital is made up of seasoned, passionate and experienced people with many years of experience in their specialisms across the Membership and NFP sector.
Ben Sturt
Managing Director and Co-founder
Ben has been working closely with membership organisations for over 25 years, spanning many sub-verticals within this sector. He has created and led the digital strategy for many organisations during this time, most recently he has run projects with the Institution of structural engineers (IStructE), the British Ecological Society (BES) and the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU).
He has brought this wealth of experience together to launch Chrysalis Digital, focused on ensuring organisations have the right CRM, website and technology platforms to grow and develop their membership, improve operations and drive permanent efficiencies across their business.
Drawing upon his understanding of the unique challenges within each organisation he can translate business requirements into actionable steps, ensuring that technical requirements and communication requirements are all aligned, helping Membership organisations to confidently embark on their digital journey.
Focus Ben lives in the New Forest, with his family. When not at work he can be found outdoors, bombing around the countryside on his mountain bike, fly fishing or letting off a few rounds at a local clay shoot.

Sarah Sturt
Operations and Finance Director and Co-founder
Sarah has huge operational experience having worked for 30 years + in the legal and finance sector. She is responsible for the running of the day to day operations and finances, keeping the business on the straight and narrow!
Focus Sarah lives in Wiltshire with Ben and their two daughters. She enjoys walking their very lively cocker spaniel, DIY and gardening.
David Darrah
Business Development Director
David has over 30 years experience in digital environments. A trained systems analyst, he moved into system sales and training and then into various consultancy roles before setting up his own business development consultancy focussed on building beneficial working partner relationships for client companies, predominantly in digital marketing and advertising.
He was one of the original founders and directors of a successful software engineering consultancy, which provided advice, architecture, planning, building, integration and maintenance for some of the world’s leading creative, advertising, marketing, communication and digital agencies. In this role David was responsible for the development of new client and working partner relationships.
Focus David now lives just off the Levels in rural Somerset, enjoys country pursuits, is a keen cook and loves foraging, gardening and, when he has time, fly fishing.

Lucy Arthur
Marketing Director
Lucy has over 25 years of marketing experience, working within the IT/Retail and Membership sectors.
Lucy joined Compaq Computer Corp in 1997 as a Consumer Product Manager, successfully launching the first ecommerce solution, through to recently running the UK&I digital transformation for Hewlett Packard Enterprise UK&I. She has managed field marketing teams both in the UK and across Europe driving many integrated marketing programmes – demonstrating how marketing can truly help to drive a healthy pipeline for a company.
She was the UK and Irish Marketing Director for Hewlett Packard Enterprise and led the launch of the new company in 2015 through to the complete digital transformation of marketing in 2016.
Focus Lucy lives in Hampshire, with her husband and 2 boys. When not focused on marketing she is running around with her boys, following her love of fitness and nutrition.

Mandy Kostiadis
Data Scientist
Mandy is passionate about data and how it can be transformed into interpretable knowledge to help businesses better understand and communicate with their customers. Enabling this interest, she has worked as a data scientist in an agency environment for the last 15 years and her specialisms include segmentations, propensity modelling and data automation. She has worked with both B2B and B2C clients including Pitney Bowes, Heathrow Express, AQA, Hearst Publishing, Freesat, and The European Society of Endocrinology.
Prior to this, Mandy spent 14 years working within HSBC and its subsidiaries across the areas of Treasury, Risk, Personal Banking and Retail Finance.
Mandy has a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Surrey, and holds the Association of Corporate Treasurers Associate Professional Qualification.
Focus When not working, she enjoys running, escape rooms, and spending time with her husband and two children at their home in Surrey.

Sally Hopwood
Change Management Consultant and Project Manager
Sally has over 30 years of experience within the IT industry, working with blue-chip customers to create value-added solutions to their business using technology. More recently, as a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Sally focused on sales process improvement schemes within Hewlett Packard, working across departments resulting in productivity and customer satisfaction improvement.
Sally joined Hewlett Packard as a Sales Account Manager in 1982 and enjoyed success with her clients across varying industries, which gave her the passion of working in sales and ensuring total customer satisfaction.
She worked at HP Worldwide, European and Country in a Sales Strategy role creating the sales methodology and driving the effective usage of CRM tools, ensuring there was a healthy pipeline for the sales teams and the company.
With an eye on digital transformation, she managed a review of the end to end sales and marketing demand generation process resulting in a social selling strategy being implemented.
Focus Sally lives with her husband in Berkshire. As their children finished University and flew the nest, Sally embarked on a part-time MSc in Strategic Quality Management developing her academic skills alongside work assignments.
